Up for sale is a "player’s dream" 1998 Martin D-15. This is an early production model from the series, featuring that classic all-solid wood warmth and dry, woody punch that these USA-made dreadnoughts are famous for.

The Sound & Playability: This guitar has had 25+ years to open up, and it shows. It plays and sounds fantastic—deep lows, clear mids, and that unmistakable Martin sustain. The action is dialed in and it's ready for the stage or the studio.

Condition Notes:

• Back Crack: There is a long crack on the back of the body. This has been professionally repaired by a local luthier and is structurally sound. It does not affect the tone or stability of the instrument.
• Stand Rash: There is some light "stand rash" (finish wear) at the base of the neck where it sat in a hanger/stand. This is purely cosmetic and shown clearly in the photos.
• General Wear: As a 1998 model that has been played, expect minor nicks and swirls consistent with a vintage instrument.
