1989 Fender American Standard Stratocaster - Black (All Original)
For your consideration is a beautiful, all-original 1989 Fender American Standard Stratocaster in a classic Black finish. Hailing from the coveted "E9" serial number era at the Corona, CA plant, this guitar represents the high-water mark of Fender's late-80s quality resurgence.
Condition & Playability
This Stratocaster is in excellent vintage condition. It has been well-preserved and remains exactly as it left the factory over 35 years ago.
- Neck: The maple neck is straight with a comfortable "Modern C" profile and 22 frets. It feels fast and smooth, with minimal fret wear.
- Body: The Black finish retains a deep gloss. While it shows some light surface swirling and minor handling marks consistent with its age, it is remarkably clean for a 1989 model.
- Electronics: 100% original. This guitar features the stock Fender American Standard single-coil pickups, delivering that quintessential "hi-fi" Strat chime and punch.
