A stunning, highly resonant 2003 PRS Custom 22 Artist Package in a rich, vibrant Amber finish. The Artist Package represents a significant factory upgrade over standard Core models, boasting an extraordinary Artist-Grade carved maple top with intense flame depth and premium appointments throughout.

This Custom 22 features a thick mahogany back paired with a set mahogany neck, a dark rosewood fingerboard adorned with Paua shell bird inlays, and a matching rosewood headstock veneer featuring an inlaid Paua shell PRS logo. It comes equipped with gold hardware, Phase II locking tuners, a solid stoptail bridge, and factory dragon-spec humbucking pickups that deliver articulate clarity, singing sustain, and versatile midrange punch.

Cosmetic & Condition Disclosure

This instrument has been enjoyed and well-cared for over its 20+ year life, exhibiting two minor cosmetic items (both clearly documented in close-up photos):

  • Binding Edge: A small, localized finish nick on the upper bass bout natural maple binding edge (DSC01273.jpg).

  • Neck Heel: Typical early-2000s PRS clear-coat finish "ghosting" (light clouding under the lacquer) on the back of the neck heel joint (DSC01279.jpg).

Neither issue affects structural integrity, playability, or neck stability in any way. The front presentation remains spectacular, the neck profile is silky smooth, and the frets have plenty of crown life remaining with clean, low action up and down the board.
