A highly resonant, Japanese-crafted mid-1990s Fernandes LE-2 in a sharp Teal Green Metallic finish. Known for their meticulous attention to detail and elite build standards, these 1990s MIJ Fernandes guitars effortlessly punch above their weight class, rivaling vintage reissue models at a fraction of the cost.

This LE-2 is built with a classic basswood body and a bolt-on maple neck featuring a vintage-correct 7.25" radius fingerboard for that unmistakable old-school feel. It is loaded with its original trio of Fernandes VS-4 single-coil pickups, serving up iconic, chimey, and articulate S-style spank across all five switch positions.

Cosmetic & Character Note

This guitar is a certified player's instrument with plenty of authentic mojo. Please note that there is a large section of missing finish along the upper-rear edge of the body (clearly documented in the close-up photos). Fortunately, this blemish is completely hidden when viewing the guitar from the front, allowing it to retain its striking metallic look on a stand or while being played live. The rest of the body, neck, and hardware shows only minor, standard handling wear.

Condition & Playability

  • Neck & Frets: The neck is arrow-straight, the truss rod adjusts as intended, and the 21 vintage-style frets show only light wear with tons of playing life remaining.

  • Electronics: 100% operational and factory-original. The 5-way selector switch, volume pot, and dual tone controls sweep smoothly without any scratchy noise.

  • Hardware: Vintage-style six-in-a-row tuners and synchronized tremolo bridge hold tuning exceptionally well.
