Up for sale is an incredibly rare, entirely custom bench-built 2013 Hamburguitar Custom "Crescent Wave", crafted by master luthier Bernie Hamburger. Completed in August 2013, this exquisite one-of-a-kind instrument was explicitly designed as a George Harrison Tribute, drawing lineage from the iconic Rickenbacker 450 shape while integrating the refined, sharp contours of the 620.

Bernie Hamburger’s pedigree as a builder is legendary, having built guitars for George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Carl Perkins. This tribute build beautifully captures that historic connection. The body sports a striking, ultra-clean Pale Grey gloss finish contrasted by a custom pastel pink pickguard that mirrors the vintage Rick 450 geometry.

The heart of this instrument lies in its electronics: it is loaded with genuine Rickenbacker professional pickups, custom pro-wound specifically for this build rather than pulled off a factory shelf. They deliver an incredibly lush, deep vintage jangle, exceptional note separation, and the exact bell-like chime associated with classic Beatles-era recordings.
